Local Artist: Douglas Morgan
Douglas was born in Nebraska and also lived in Iowa and Minnesota. Douglas and his wife now reside in the Okanagan. Douglas has become a Canadian citizen, has a daughter, son-in-law, and has three young grandchildren.
Doug’s grandfather was a long-time photographer and encouraged Doug’s interest from a young age. Though Douglas always had a camera, photography remained a hobby until the digital camera matured and he found a passion for landscape photography where his computer skills could be applied to photography producing high resolution panoramas.

Local Artist: John Revill
John Revill was born on a morning in March 1954 in the Toronto area and has lived in the Okanagan since the age of five. During his late teens he decided on a career as a painter and has stayed on that path ever since.
While never studying in a formal school of art, John has developed his talents through mentoring with other artists and through his own personal studies. Painters such as Alex Colville, Salvador Dali, and many of the Old Masters have had an effect on his technique and compositional style, as well as the art forms of Canada’s West Coast Indigenous People.

Marilynn enjoys painting in both acrylics and oils, depending on the subject. It gives her great pleasure to see a painting emerge. She likes using vibrant, warm and sunny tones in an impressionistic style, especially in her signature fruit paintings. She has lived in Staffordshire, Cheshire, Shropshire, Le Vaudreuil Ville Nouvelle, Essex, Surrey, Liverpool, Balham, Tooting, Ealing and Middlesex but has settled for now in Brighton & Hove.

Born and raised in Pakistan, Tina travelled within the country and overseas with her diplomat father.
Trained as a Graphic Designer, her artistic journey has been that of an explorer. She works in a variety of mediums, of which pastels are her medium of preference. Often enjoying an “explosion” of colours, Tina finds working with a limited palette equally thrilling. Light cascading over forms, natural or man-made, is the driving force that compels her to paint as she strives to capture a specific moment in time.
